Promotion Engine users can now for example, plan a whole series of promotions whereby the system pays attention to the balance of the advertising measures: individual items are not advertised more than once within a period of six weeks. A further, significant innovation of the Promotion Engine Dacos is the integration of promotional competitor prices into the software solution. This way, the user receives a list of all of the competitor advertising prices, for example from the past week, as well as article and price recommendations for his advertising campaign. The lowest advertising price can be displayed or the average value calculated. This makes planning easier for those responsible, saves time and ensures that your advertising measures achieve their goal. The Promotion Engine uses the methods from Artificial Intelligence and machine learning, in order to test the effectiveness of advertising campaigns and, when required, recommend alternatives. Such a system can predict buying behaviour more accurately than traditional analysis software solutions.
The Price Engine is an additional module from the Dacos simulation software. With it, commercial enterprises can calculate how to fix the prices for a group of articles with regard to customer needs, their returns and their price image. The software is now more comfortable for its users because the Price Engine can access the SAP data warehouse of every company using an SAP merchandise management system. This means the customer can use the Price Engine without additional data management. In addition, the Price Engine also allows you to integrate competitor prices, when available. The comparison with competitors helps you set an upper limit for pricing so that your prices are never higher than those of your competitors.
